 i practiced record-breaking scream restraint at this show, knowing this recording was going on. but i did break it a few times :)
this show was nothing short of fantastic! can\'t believe i waited so long to see these guys. i want to marry dave grohl, btw....

heh.. so, there\'s a guy here att he office who is the self-proclaimed \'world\'s largest foo fighters fan\'. his monitor wallpaper is foo fighters, his t shitrs are often foo fighters, you get the idea... well, he knows that downloading mucis is possible, but only through itunes, napster, etc... so i just emailed him, \'hey man, have you had a chance to hear any of this tour yet?\'
to which he replied \'no, they\'re not playing around here, which sucks, since its his hometown!\'
i answered \'wanna hear some of the 18th?\'
\'huh???\'
\'come by my office real quick...\'
needless to say, his eyes bulged, his eyebrows nearly shot up and off his skull and his head started thrashing wildly when i gave him my ear buds...
so dave, from ben, \'tell he\'s the coolest f\'ing dude in the whole f\'ing world!! how\'d he do that?!?!?!?!?!!!!\'
i gave him a brief live music taping synopsis and promised him his own discs in the morning. i\'m gonna throw in a couple other foo shows i saw on tapers den, too, just to really blow his mind. but i thought it was awesome opening a whole new world to a guy who thought he was as in touch with the band as possible!
now, just wait til i tell him about having dinner with dave and his mom and hanging out at their beach house years ago....
