Where\'s the funk?

PFUNK (or whatever else George Clinton is calling his band at any given moment) covers:

Mommy, What\'s a Funkadelic?
Night of the Thumposaurus Peoples
Give Up the Funk (Tear the Roof of This Sucker)
Let\'s Make It Last

That\'s all that I can think of without going through every setlist; there are definitely some others.

Also:

RHCP

One Big Mob
Stone Cold Bush
Warped
Funky Monks (I think...)

Also, maybe one of the old school \'Staven crew can answer this:

I\'ve noticed the song "PMDTV" on some early setlists.  Is this an obvious abbreviation that I\'m just not recognizing, or have I dug up a genuine PB fossil?

yea, thats the abreviation for the one i always forget the name to. something like phantastic morphing  demented television. i know thats wrong, but whatever. its an old mokijam song tim wrote.  it shows up time to time

also forgot
ahh, the name is breakfast baby, by bootsie collins

and like four cream songs, zappas montana, flower punk, etc, etc. covers is a huge list...

Nice list Leith!

RHCP and Funkadelic are in there already, Drew, read carefully!

Missing from list off the top of my head:

Magic Fingers (Zappa)
Special Secret Song Inside (RHCP)
Bouree (Jethro Tull)
Eat That Phonebook Coda (Gong)
Miles Beyond (Miles Davis)
The Chicken (Pee Wee Ellis)

And from the "grey area" department, the song "Ahhh...the Name is Breakfast, Baby" is nothing more than the song "Ahhh...the name is Bootsy, Baby" by Bootsy Collins, with the word "Breakfast" replacing "Bootsy".  I count it as a cover.

Thanx for jumping on everyone. It\'s nice to have this info easily available instead of having to drudge through lists. My hope is that some of you who have access to the "Breakfast Table"
might find a nugget forgotten and remind the guys to bust. I do not know how this list will get updated but it seems Joe has the right idea so the list is always last post, yet again easy access.

Oh yeah Wolf, I edited original post AFTER Drew\'s post.  He was right the funk was missin\'

Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds
Blackbird
Octopus’ Garden

At Callahans the night of George Harrison\'s death they played \'Blue Jay Way\', \'Something\', and i think a instrumental version of \'While my guitar gently weeps\'
sleep a lot...eat a lot, brush em like crazy. Run a lot...do a lot, never be lazy..

Don\'t forget about Rage Against the Machine\'s "Freedom".
PFunk is a legit category considering the songs PB plays are both funkadelic and Parliament songs.
How real is that?

Found on a setlist. Do not know circumstances. Probably a one shot.
