Let\'s support Adrian and then we\'ll get Johnny to hook him up with some of his companies like DW, Meinl, ProMark, Remo, Roland. Adrian will show him he\'s an amazing player.....Let\' show him that Adrian has killer following and that these companies should let him endorse their products.

It appears to be a cheaper cost for "students".... does this mean a student comes in and can get a lesson of some sort? Or is it more like a show, with each of the performers showin off the chops?? On top of that..he\'s a great guy, friendly and happy to be playing the show. I don\'t get why you\'re being such an ass about something you obviously don\'t know shit about. I apologize to everyone else reading this but this show is there to help Adrian and Caitlin get some exposure and hopefully some great connections while providing some incredible entertainment...we don\'t need some opinionated "hack" undermining a good thing. I\'m going to probably lose my ass on this show...but it\'s all good if some new people get to hear Adrian and Caitlin. What\'s your problem???? I just don\'t get it.

My meds are fine....maybe your unprescribed meds are kicking in ;)....Calling a world class player like Johnny a hack?? It was a joke?? I don\'t get it..even Joclyn was shocked. But that\'s cool if you were attempting to be funny....maybe I just didn\'t get it but I\'d hate to think others "not getting it also".

Actually when I thought about it, it was Matt O. who highly recommended Johhny Rabb. Matt played in BioDiesel with him one night. The jam after the Expo should be cool with Matt and Chris + Adrian.

The schedule is: WFD contest starting as the doors open 6:30Pm
Caitlin, then Adrian,...Johnny Rabb, Qand A session, Three drummer jam....Open jam featuring Chris and Matt with the drummer.

So...yes I expect it to start at 7 and it could possibly go to 11pm with the jam. But the drum event should be ending around 9:30....

Caitlin kicked off the show with some awesome playing then Adrian just floored the room! He was on fire....the place was jumping. Then Johnny took the stage and proceeded to leave jaws on the floor. The jam at the end went to 11pm and what can I say except AMAZING. The most amazing was the last jam with Johnny Rabb, Adrian, Matt and Chris. Watching Johnny\'s face after every Adrian lick was worth a miliion bucks.....I know he left last night thoroughly amazed by Adrian and his incredible talent. There\'s a festival where Johnny Rabb\'s band BIO DESIEL and THE BREAKFAST will be on the same bill.....I will not miss that show for anything. They talked about some serious colaboration.

So once again....The First Annual Connecticut Drum Expo was a huge success and thank you to ALL who attended.

Post by: Mamalakabubadaya on May 16, 2008, 09:32:29 am: i\'m really glad that i was able to make it down for this. we got there a little late and came in while adrian was doing his solo which was phenomenal. some young girl in the crowd was randomly picked out of a hat (or box?) to come up and do a solo and i was blown away. johnny rabb was so unbelieveably impressive and had a good sense of humor too. it was cool that he got the crowd involved with various tempos and whatnot. the guy is so well composed and on top of his shit it\'s incredible. this was a really fun event to witness and i\'ll definitely be at the next one.

Thanks for coming it was my pleasure putting this together....anything to help Caitlin, Adrian and even The Breakfast. I think they made a strong connection and hopefully it will lead to some good things.

As far as Johnny\'s playing: WOW!!! Mark put it best (and I asked permission to steal his line at the show and say it on stage..lol) "Drummers used to worry about machines putting them out of work...Johnny\'s playing is putting drum machines out of work"

Special thanks to Mark for making the posters and to everyone who helped by hanging them around or spreading the word.
