Almost had it. I was figuring Scheme as the encore but in my clouded wishing I wanted Gravity. Tried for both but hey Wildpack is a GREAT closer for the locals! LOL
But on the SER tip it looks like the release of Real Radio is off to a great start! Hope the place was sold out. Man sets like that make me
-
Thanx Gabe and Dave for the vicarious fun !!

You\'re so hard on yourself ez brah! ;) Thanx again for lookin\' out Hey the Lakers even won a game tonight :)
-
well im finally home, awesome show. house was packed and the band could not have stepped it up and higher than they did. the performance was absolutely the most professional ive seen them play. combination setlist/performance/crowd made for one of the greatest shows ive seen em pull off. any show they play scheme at is usually on my happy list. They really tore up sleeping beauty tonight which was cool. Score>Crosstown>Score was rediculous and unexpected and Gladys raged and barreled fuiously into Dimension. this is turning into a review sorry, gnight thanks band and everyone else who was there 1

I Am Full!!

You slacker! Are you Ser??
Nice little rock n roll show thrown down last night. Score>CT>Score was absolutely brilliant. D5 oh yeah! Great kickoff, good crowd, bring it on!

S...

Score > Crosstown Traffic > Score ???
Sickest Fairy ever ???
Electrifying Drum Solo ???
Yup, they happened.
And with that, I\'m off to hunt down my brother\'s car...
-
I\'ll throw it out there and maybe I\'ll feel differently down the road, but after some early analysis, I will proclaim last night\'s Breakfast performance the best I\'ve seen in 102 shows. There was absolutely no need for Scheme and it was my highlight of the show. Two outstanding drum solos. Score and Spunk sandwiches. The Earache jam was simply unfair. Now, the album.
-
whoa... possibly one of the serest setlists I\'ve ever seen! will this sucker be on LMA anytime soon?
-
last night was my 21st birthday...i wanted to meet up with a bunch of people but i was wasted...ill be there the 10th and 11th so ill see everybody there...todd you still owe me shots...freddie i remember talking to you but thats about it sorry man
-
<----still speechless.
I will defer to Pitchy\'s post which sums the night up quite splendidly....

best show ever.confirmed

Just got done listening/dancing to the 1st set. I am inclined to agree w/ the sentiments so far. The guys sound so tight and some of the transitions are so perfect they seem like they may have rehearsed some. I know Doughboy was the best I have ever heard. Now I only have 2 questions.
1. did anyone have a heart attack ?
2. Where was the 2nd set played because after that 1st set Toad\'s had to have been in ruins.
-
what a sick show!
completely serious high energy evening last night. definately the numero uno breakfast show to date.
is that the first show ever to be inside a drum solo? who open and closes with a drum solo?
absolutey on fire last night! Can\'t wait for the next show!
-
anyone out there willing to b&p that show?? ill have discs in the mail immediately. i appreciate any help! thanks, wish i couldve been a part of the madness, it sounds like it was a life-changing experience!! oh, by the way, the last few weeks the breakfast has been blowing up on High Sierra\'s website. there have been a ton of posts about them having to come to Quincy this summer, and the debate over them and Umphrey\'s is hilarious. basically anyone who has heard BOTH bands say its no contest, people who have ONLY heard Umphrey\'s, well you know. And the jamband crown goes to The Breakfast you mother fuckers!!!!!
-
Holy shit! That was such a great show! No other band out there can even compete with the breakfast, nuff said.
-
whooo, yeah
-
as the show speeds away from my brain timewise, it is leaving little scraps of memories for me to remember...
without looking....I would assume last time played for Food For Thought was up in \'gansett on 9/18/04... not too long a gap between them.....
SER MAYFLY JAM LAST NIGHT AS WELL...
I am now forced to buy some blank discs so I can clean up my hard drive and get some shows.....
-

you are correct, sir!
not too long of a gap (almost 6 months), but played only 8 times in 114 shows in 2004..
chew on that. ;)
-
I am downloading this show. Sounds like they almost played the entire Real Radio lineup.
Wow!
-
Every song except for the two songs that they played the night before at the Funk Box, I think. That would be nine out of the eleven on the album (which sounds pretty good, by the way!!).
-
best breakfast show i\'ve ever been to (i know i havent been to a lot but whatever). my first time seeing them play scheme was quite the experience. one thing i must say i am disapointed about is that i didnt get a dance with robyn. where were you girl???
-
WOW! Best Breakfast show I have ever seen. Score->CT->Score was the BALLS!
Jammed out Doughboy...ahhh!
MVP goes to Dobbs for bringing a professional sound to the table for this groups of insanely talented musicians...WOW!
-
Agree, sound for Toad\'s was right on!

Agree, sound for Toad\'s was right on!
Just listening to the show again now and would also have to agree - without excellent house sound, the recording wouldn\'t have turned out so well. Really amazing amounts of energy, stellar playing and possibly the best live vocals I\'ve heard from the boys too.
Some of my favourite moments include:
Fresh Cut - eagerly anticipated and which does not disappoint;
Sleeping Beauty - never really got into that song before, but this one smokes;
TGSOT - simply insane all the way through right to its Close Encounters tease at the end!!!
-
Damn. Well, my disappointment over having to miss this show is being thwarted by my happiness that everyone had such a good time. They played a show that was that unanimously good...that\'s awesome. And you know what else gives it even more merit? They\'ve been building up to this show for 3 months. Things have really been at a different level ever since Turkey Tour. Things like this don\'t often happen out of blue, there\'s always a buildup. There are three shows I can remember that had this much universal and uncontested "best show ever" talk immediately afterwards. Those are 11/19/99 (Butterfield), 5/5/1(Baker Quad), and 7/23/1 (Camp Creek). All the shows since then have been awesome and get great reviews, but it\'s really been almost four years since everybody talked like this. This is fantastic. See you this weekend!
-
i remember people talkin like this after the Sully\'s turkey tour show...and the January Sullys show. come to think of it, it seems like every show i miss people talk about like this so i am esspecially happy i made this one.
-
You\'re right, those Sully\'s shows definitely got the headdy acclaim.
-
Definitely one of the best show I\'ve ever been.
Doughyboy > WUIAC > No Regret!! What a way to get started! And they held the energy through the whole show....unbelievable!!! Great to see everybody!
Some other of my highlights were D5 (love that tune!!), sleeping beauty, and grand scheme!!
great night!!!
-
Bastards. I need to clone myself for nights like that. Granted, I had the time of my life in ATL, but that was my Food For Thought, dammit!
-
And your Scheme.
-
-
Sully\'s shows= dawn of a new age..
-
First off Igzy...that was MY FFT as was the Narragansett one...
For me the dawning of a new breakfast age came on 3/12/04 with the Tribal>Mommy>Tribal at Porters...but that is just me and my opinion.
-
OK, good then. it was only yours, so he must be saving mine for the Providence show. I like my version better than yours, to be quite honest.

no way guy...
thanks to the breakfast, "the most giving band in rock and roll", every fan gets their song in good time. these guys know it and show appreciation to all of their loyal fans, which is one of the many reasons that I am a fan 5.5 years later...
-
I still haven\'t heard Scheme since \'02, but who\'s counting....

:blah: Take your cryin\' elsewhere some people have never heard it.

And your Scheme.
i definitly feel that was my scheme. ;)
-
Definitely was a community Scheme... confirmed.

the scheme at sullys was the commutiny scheme imo....
