godammit!!! i knew i should of stayed in ct tonight..but never would of made it to work at 9 tomorrow (in va)
wish i could of seen the tequilla cover, i do a mean peewee herman dance to that song..it\'s probably a good thing i didn\'t go though because something strange comes over me when i hear funkytown and it\'s embarassing
-
Best HLH to date! They took this song to new heights. The kick back into HLH after the incredible jam was on the same level of seeing Phish hit DWD after a 30-minute jam. Incredible.
Cut Me Some Slack was raging. Unreal encore.
Ronnie laying bass bombs like he was a master.
What a great time.
Damn this show was great!
-
I wish I coulda stayed, sounds like a great show. :(
did get to hear fuzebox for the 1st time though.
Clifford perked up once we got out of the sun and chased a couple of his buddies then popped several pool toys.

sorry joce, but this is true.. :( i thought about you missing a HLH when they started it, but as it developed, i started feeling really bad that you weren\'t there.. it was epic, and you and Sadie were missed..
other high-profile no-shows of note include Wolfman and Pete The Fan...
-
 can\'t believe i missed this show... best HLH to date??? eeek that kills me!! musta been a good time though, im so insanely jealous ;)
-
would have much rather spent the day outside @ the park, but unfortunately my entire day consisted of. . . well, let\'s just say it was like I had food poisoning without the vomitting, use your brain. . .

Couldn\'t agree more. I had to take a knee.

Great show, great time! Josh threw a good bash, other than the end of the night Budweiser  I hope the fuzz didn\'t give him too much trouble. Fun time good seeing everybody together.
Acoustic Cafe here we come!!!
-
every ounce of me wants this band to blow up... except this little speck that would hate to lose nights like last night. sorry, just gotta be honest.
-
Awesome night, great people, definitly one that should not have been missed
-
btw. derick = savor!. end of the show, not a beer in the house, except the giant sack\'o\'beer thrown over dericks shoulder. thanks guy, I was dry as dirt and you saved me.
-
sooooo mad i had to miss this....
-
Definitely a huge Thanks to Josh for throwing this. What a memorable evening.
Derick, gigantic save with ice cold beers at the end of the evening. So much gratitude.
-
Fitzy had a pubic beard of bees goin\'
that was pretty scary! when i looked down and saw that swarm of bees all over me i didnt know what to do.
they started stinging my left foot and leg. they were all stuck on my leg by their stingers and i didnt know what else to do, so i tried to shake and bat them off of me, but then they regrouped and flew up the pantleg of my shorts. at that point i thought i was fucked. after they flew up my pantleg they somehow only stung me on the back of my leg.
thank god it worked out the way it did because it could have been 1000 times more painful. :holyshit:
-
after everyone left,i discovered one of the kegs had a few more cases left in it.
KEGSTANDS!!

Having seen this song twice, I can honestly say "I don\'t know", of course the condition I was in last night did not help this cause.
-
great time at this show! Congrats Josh and Jess. Excellent shindig. Just looking for a concensus here. Did anyone else happen to see the jackass in the hawaiian print shirt and spikey hair who was practically molesting every girl at the show who wasn\'t visibly attached to someone (and even they were he didn\'t stop)? I almost had to beat him senseless, but i settled for throwing a water bottle at him. I usually don\'t get mad being a hippie and all but he was pulling the bump and grab the ass move. Cori actually had to come and get me because he wouldn\'t leave her alone. Not to mention the shameless leering. I swear if I ever see that asshole at another show there are going to be huge problems. Confirmed^2.

HA, YES! This guy was a little weird. He had Real Radio blasting on some gay ass speakers coming out of his Volvo in the parking lot...not to mention he seemed to be influenced on some sort of drug....who knows, the dude was werid that\'s all I know....

This guy ruined my fun... fucking date rapist.
But on the topic of the show itself:
Attraction to Shade Ditty = Best Ronnie Spears Moment Ever
-
I didn\'t see this happening but I did see the guy outside in the lot listening to music from his volvo.
-
i still cant even believe the shit that went down last night. hard luck harry was the best live breakfast song i have ever heard or witnessed........they put me in another world. def. the most intense/hardcore breakfast show i\'ve been to.... makes me feel a lot better about missing block island. what a night - one for the ages
-
Hard Luck Harry made this show slightly better then Block Island.
Block Island is still one of the top 3 of this year for me.

you missed the after-hours siihb party? you missed out big time.
awesome show, by the way. i think i\'m officially hooked.
-
That tequila went quick, I just wish I hadn\'t drank so much of it...ugh.
I will pass on comment about HLH...nothing more need be said. Tim sings Family Affair, with the rest of the band on backup vocals. Scarlet was RAGING!!! Best Encore EVER!!! Amazing day in the sun with great people and perfect way to cap off this INSANITY this week had become. Between the "Breakfast on the Water"run and the "Family Jam" I will never stop smiling again.
Acoustic Cafe is gonna be the Best...Loose Lucy.
I almost forgot SLOW MERGE RULES YOUR FACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111
-
that encore was insane. It seemed like it was as musically packed as the entire set.
-
last nights set = at least 4 hours long in my brain.........felt never ending. never have i ever been in the zone like last night. ser musical orgasm to the max.

confirmed. my good man.

Josh and Jess: fine hosts who coordinated a great event. I extend to them my most sincere congratulations.
The crowd, specifically frontrow.info: a bunch of crazy persons and I wouldn’t want it any other way. Bumpin\' from the start and frenzied following Attraction, which I’ll note as my all-time favorite version. My long-sleeved argyle t-shirt was busting at the seams.
The show: Hard Luck was legendary within minutes. That and Attraction were my standouts. In terms of individual statistics, Adrian’s playing in Slack, Tim’s spacey breakdown in HLH, Jordan’s Chase intro, and Ron’s Spunk solo were my highlights. The encore was clearly ludicrous. Tremendous musicians who’ve already played a great show, then loosen the lasso a bit after some tequila spells trouble for everyone.
The setlist: 100 percent unscripted according to Adrian.
Overall: fuckin’ A
-
it was a SER time for sure. i agree pitchy.....jess and josh deserve all the thanks and praise we can muster. outstanding job and stepping up to the hassles that this brings is way above and beyond IMHO.
-
HLH left my face melted on the grass
-
Can\'t give enough praise to Josh and Jess for a terrific evening. Best of luck to the 2 of them with whatever life may present them with.
-
Which band members sang on "Family Affair"?
Ronny and Timmy

Most everything musically has been mentioned, but that Great Big Fiery Ball jam kicked my arse. For a while during the set, I couldn\'t focus too much on the music, cuz I lost my keys, but luckily I found them in the heady Element and got back to rage it down w/ a clear head just in time for HLH.
-
Can\'t wait to see some of that ChrisF footage
Hopefully the crazy dancing in the front row didn\'t ruin too many of the front camera angles. I noticed some crazy folks dancing blocked some of the angles, which even a big blue plastic container in front of it couldn\'t stop all the dancing directly in front of the camera.
-
^^^ the music\'s too powerful to notice things like that sometimes.....

and btw. GBFBITS jam=ser funky Sunset=ser beautiful
-
now thinking of it, GBFBITS was so well placed. To use another Phishology, it is like when Phish would play Divided Sky after a rain storm.
The sky and sunset last night was incredible. I captured one photo on my camera from Jordans side and the sky is so rich in color.
-

you can either email them to yourself for like 25 cents apiece or get the cable that hooks up to the computer. i think its about $40 for the cable and software depending on what phone you have.

She has been to moe. phil and friends, ratdog, phish, disco biscits and she said this was the best time she ever had, all of you treated her with respect. Once again what a great family we have started here! She is a fan for life. Great to see everyone again. Josh great host thank you. cant say it enough..awesome time. top notch/Best fam jam . good to see the crew/ hear the music and drink!!!! As far as Breakfast set...a gem .
many memories, but last thing i was expecting to see after the cops came and asked Josh for them to take the volume down and he gets up and tells Tim to take it down, was mothafukin Merge! nice bust out

"Lets see how soft we can play this one" TPalms after hearing that we needed to keep the volume low and right before going into Merge...PFFFFT....Ser Indeed....
I saw the guy in the shirt, I didnt see him hitting/molesting any ladies. To bad he didnt put the moves on Mad Mahoney, cause he would have been cut from his grundle to his gullet....Hopefully nobody was hurt physically or emotionally.....

havent been able to check anything on the computer for a few days due to my little brother\'s internet porn habits, and the reviews from this run are outstanding. so happy to see that this shit went down. the fire is spreading (like there was any doubt). sounds like everyone had a fanfuckingtastic time, good stuff all around.
Now that\'s what I\'m talking about!
-
GORDO! I missed you brah!! Any word from Alex/Chicago venues?
-
It was actually neither argyle nor a sweater, just a joke that took on a life of its own. It also, as it turns out, was a great conversation piece. Glad I could help.
-
Me and Shags were talking last night, WHERE DID EVERYONE GET BUG BITES??? I have not one ANYWHERE???? Neither did he? I think you guys are NUTZ!

Alright people enough with the HLH.
But thanks of thinking of me Dave.
I was really really upset to have missed this; I had been looking forward to it for a quite a while. But I started out the weekend waking up sick as could be Saturday morning after GTB... made the mistake of going Saturday night, and it just got worse from there. There was NO WAY I could have made it.
OF COURSE Dave had bug spray. He thinks of everything!
So the motto of my story is by now I need to know when to make the veteran moves and take it easy.
Getting so wasted Tuesday night that I missed work Wednesday = not veteran move
Getting wasted again Friday night at GTB while slightly sick, then driving hundreds of miles on saturday, then missing family jam = SO NOT VETERAN MOVE
It\'s probably because I haven\'t been able to do ANYTHING for the past year and a half or so due to the (ex) man, and having been recently emancipated has caused some serious recklessness on my part... he he
