Rob, which show would you recommend to someone who was short on time and had to choose between Chicago and Madison?
Lobbying for a Kote>Beer Jubilee>Gypsy Girl>Prom 97>Vortex

I think for overall sound quality I like the Chicago show, but both nights ripped. They were both really solid shows IMO.

This show did not hold up as strong as I remembered it being live. Still some great moments obviously, I think May Fly is the highlight, but I think the perfect atmosphere and perfect sound made it feel like a 10/10 at the time. Now, probably won\'t listen to it too much. Especially after downloading the Red Square show. And I\'m still back and forth on Matt. He is not nearly as rhythmically sound as the rest of the guys. Regardless of his time in the band, when a jam is being drawn out he tends to fuck up the rhythm and it really sounds shitty. He need to realize that Tim is still thee man and to work on his rhythms, make everything thicker for the master of leads to take them. He definitely should still take leads but I think he will hopefully realize his role more fully as being secondary to Tim. I know it sounds harsh in a sense but I\'m just being honest. And at the same time, the band is still better off with Matt.

Also, anyone care to explain to the novice here what the difference is between 24-bit and 16-bit?
The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash

8 bits.

:)

good resource here:

short answer - 24-bit sounds better, if you have the equipment.

Thank you. I will surely be sticking to 16-bit for some time.
