But then again, that happens to Gray everywhere...
-
YEAH THEY FINALLY BROUGHT BACK SYLVIA WOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
-
damn, wish i made this show! awesome set list.
way to go gray! you know you like to get sketchy, old ass!
-
Looks good on paper alright. I\'m realizing now that the only bad thing about living in New York is that it\'s impossible to get out and back in with any sort of regularity. Amherst is just so perfectly located to get to anywhere in New England or eastern New York, I appreciate that a lot more now!
-
let the setlist speak for itself...some highlights in my opinion were the jam in Gravity. They played off each other and complimented so perfectly, like it was all planned out. I havent heard Merge or Willie the Pimp in a while i dont think...nice treats. Doughboy..great tune. inner glimpse..great tune but 3 times played in a row i think. Phaddy should take a breather..good call.
as far as the crowd....there was like 200 people there and some were dancin pretty damn hard, but majority seemed to be just zoning out on them as they played..just standing there staring at every note. It was deffinatley an interesting night and worth the trip. funny how clear you can hear vocals at places compared to the webster where it is all muddy. anyway...cool venue and good people running it.
Dogpatch...good to meet ya.
-
yeah you gotta watch out for gloversville people.. i think they have something in the water over there.. always a wild time.. the milfs, bar fights and sketchyness is always clutch
-
The opening Jam had Inca Roads teases!!!!

They wern\'t even hot milfs. There\'s a huge difference, hot milf you want to take home. Ugly milf you want to run away. The funniest part is when she was telling me that its my job to buy her a drink and she\'s getting all hot and heavy.. I\'m like no, she\'s like thats not the way it goes.. Then she\'s like let me show you how to do it and she buys me a drink... I took my drink and ran back to the merch table to hide.. A few minutes later she left!!! I was like wwooohoooo!!!! The ugly milf is gone!!!
-
perhaps i\'m missing something here, but isn\'t a milf hot by definition?? :hscratch:
-
yeah thers lots of those hogly uglys running around... our halloween show there this past october featured a costume contest at the end.. and let me just say i saw some less than desirable jugs.. that i would have been fine without seeing
inca roads-- doink and spohn were calling for it in the front before they started..

Yes, according to the hunter. I would feel all weird calling her an ugly mom.. Just doesn\'t sound right, what do you call a 42 year old woman who\'s trying to take you home and doesn\'t look and who is annoying?
-
wasn\'t there so its hard to give an opinion..but ...she may just have shown you a thing or two....or three
-
Does anybody out there really need to hear Phaddy on a regular basis? C\'mon 2 nights in a row, there is just too much better stuff!
When the hell are we going to hear TGSOT???
-
Sylvia????
What the hell is this? New song, old song, cover? I\'ve never heard of it

I agree about that. That\'s part of the reason why I find myself attracted to older woman. You learn so much more it\'s not even funny. Its all good in the hood, lamo!!!

phaddy needs to sit on the shelf for a while, imo.. they need to put it on \'time-out\'...

Thanks everyone for making my birthday weekend so great. (Lots of birthdays this weekend!) The music was ser as were the people.... Boston>Hartford>Gloversville: as good as it gets, unless they play Red Rocks somewhere in the near future... Thanks everyone also for buying me enough drinks that I was somewhat incoherent all weekend long. Oh! and nice to meet a bunch of forumites- oldnewbie, bluefunk, galenas, am I forgetting anyone else? And of course Aruny and Gencs- how is it possible that I hadn\'t met you guys until this weekend? We have been seeing this band for how many years now?
wow, Gloversville, weird area, cool place though. Didn\'t sound too bad for an old carwash too. I did practically get trampled by about 15 drunk guys when I pulled in (shortly before midnight...) though. You\'d have thought they had never seen a girl driving a truck before. Pretty hilarious.
Seriously though, where\'s Tribal?
-
axanodus, do you know a guy named Justin Heavey? (not sure on the spelling of his last name... ) Just curious...

really! when tim said at hartford that they were going to play something from duece i got all excited b/c i thought it might be tribal. i do love what the funk (which is what they played) but tribal would have been out of control!
great meeting you too! what an awesome weekend to celebrate a bday!
-
yeah i know him... he\'s a regular on rezi board.. and a friend of ours.

I wonder how much we would have to throw down for Tim to play it solo? I\'ll throw down $20.
-
Axanodus, cool, we have a mutual friend then. Jus is about as nice a guy as one could hope to know. Was hoping to get him out to Gloversville, but he was with his girlfriend, who, ironically, is from my hometown.
-
awesome! it really is a small world.
-
Sylvia by FOCUS. One of the best covers TB does. Any other questions on covers can be answered by the cover thread existing some where on this forum. Maybe I should update w/ all the new covers?
-
axandous, what happened man?didnt meet ya and get the rezi ldz.but, tfa was my request for fri but i thought for sure we would get it by the end
-
