cause it\'s an archive, and i\'m working to get a lot of old stuff up there.

cause they\'re the only sources that exist of these shows.

cause most of the newer stuff is already up there.

EDIT: heh.. yeah.. nevermind.

interesting... I think I have that tape. I\'ll have to go dig it up. Dave, since your uploading this stuff, alot of recordings were made with josh\'s minidisc recorder as the master source back in 99-00. Does he still have the discs? Those would give a better quality than taking the analog clones. (its a long shot, but maybe)

tim gave me a huge box of analogs a while back to transfer. they\'re all pretty much the lowest generation of all the recordings in there. haven\'t run into any mini-disc > analog stuff yet.

Dude, you are pulling out some real gems here!  I remember the 1/26/01 Toad\'s show being killer (except Gypsy Girl, of course... sorry Mark! lol), and 2/1/01 @ Rudy\'s I also remember!  Given the capacity of my memory, that is saying something!  The only other Rudy\'s show I have is 12/27/00, so I can\'t wait to hear this one.

no prob... they\'re all coming.. everything. i\'m in the process of getting everything i have up there, backed up on hard drives, and on dvds. and since i have to go through and rename everything anyways (my older stuff is in the format yy-mm-dd rather than yyyy-mm-dd), i figure i\'d FLAC it all while i\'m at it..

after i get through 2001, i\'m gonna work on getting some earlier stuff up there. just gotta dig it up.

Dave, and anyone else who\'s tried to download the 02/19/01 - Fire & Water Cafe; Northampton, MA show. Has anyone managed to get the flac zip OK? Mine downloaded fine, or so I thought, but when I tried to extract it, I got loads of header/CRC errors - in fact only 1 track extracted properly(d2t08). Bit of a bummer as I was really intrigued by the prospect of an acoustic Eat That Phone Book Coda.

May I suggest using Smartftp and dowloading from their server that way? I\'ve heard too many problems with people d\'l those zip files.

the tobacco road show up here is truely classic..bernie worrell and woo warriors played before breakfast that night and by the time pb hit the stage and played mommy whats a funkadelic?,the drummer of woo warriors, and also pfunk allstars, decided t otry to take the sticks outta the animals hand to no avail...adrian just looked at him and shook his head as if to say"dude, forget the number"..so instead of playing the drums, like he hoped for,he instead grabbed a microphone and acted like a horses ass talkin shit into the mic..classic moment and im glad i remember it!

Thanks for the ear candy.. you ARE the man:)

Something about these "older" shows, they sound so crisp.

Just curious.. were 5/3/01, 6/16/01, 7/7/01, 8/13/01, 11/15,16/01 and 11/30/01 recorded? and if they were, will they be released? just wondering.

Listening to shows from this period brings back good memories... memories of how great it felt to be a slacker.. work is a sick, cruel joke.

Which artist produced "They\'re Coming to Take Me Away"?

I don\'t remember hearing it other than at FF3.
