yeah, trey sat in on inspector gadget.

sorry i sorry chipped you gabo. That was the most unintentional and unexpected sorry chip in sorry chipping history.  I hope for your sake she shook it off : )

whole show was wicked ser. IG>TMNT really rocked and they nailed the vocal harmonies on "go gadget go" which was hilarious. Opening jam was a monster. It was evident within the first 5 minutes of this show that this was going to be a ser show.  Huge moments all over the place and the crowd was in better spirits than we had been at iron horse. This has everything to do with the fact that before the show everyone was inside having a beer and enjoying each other\'s company as opposed to being forced to stand outside in the cold 45 minutes after doors were supposed to open and the band has to go on while there are still people outside waiting to come in.  If you can\'t process 100 people into your club from the time you open the doors until the time the band goes on, then you run a shitty club!

awesome show tonight!

There was also a family guy theme in there somewhere.

HLH was a great opener, and OE a great closer for the first set. Adrian destroyed OE, and it seemed like he had to keep the momentum going with that SICK drum solo he pulled off to start the second. Never seen anything like that.

Stoops is fuckin nasty, he fits in perfectly, and they all looked like they were having an awesome time on stage. Hopefully he sticks around for a while. Ventriliquist was hit harder than any time I\'ve seen RAQ play it (sorry RAQ fans but Tim just owned it). They teased another RAQ song during Rufus but I couldn\'t tell what it was. Tim and Chris were staring down Stoops while teasing it until he finally caught on and joined in. Kinda funny.

My first Dangle show and I gotta say I am super impressed. He is completely comfortable with this band now and it\'s fun to watch them connect on stage.

Rufus>Willie the pimp gave me a bloody nose. That shit was hot. I\'m still deaf in the left ear today, I gotta quit hangin out so close to the damn speakers.

SICK.

That\'s upsetting... they could jam the hell out of the main theme. "Happy Happy Joy Joy" is billed as being sung by Stinky Weaselteats. Yup.

Dave, nice to meet you last night! What a fucking show! Wow. LT>Hard Luck Harry was fucking insane. Its hard to say that the highlight of the show may have been the opening jam but that might just be true. Over Exposure was also massive! What a jam. They took that song DEEP.

Stoops was sounding firey. I loved him with the Breakfast SO MUCH more than I like what he was doing with RAQ. RAQ is so stale these days I can\'t even listen to them anymore (this coming from someone who used to drive up to 5 hours to see this band).

This was actually my first show seeing the band with their "new" bass player. He is great. I was really enjoying what he added to the sound and it was refreshing to have a slightly less dominate player who leaves room for the sound to breathe. Was very psyched to get a Rufus encore. God I love that song. Also the Fat Albert cover was brilliant.

I don\'t think I could have possibly had more fun.  The music and the night exceeded my expectations.

I really enjoyed hearing Stoops play with the boys.  I know he\'s scheduled for some more shows.  I just hope it\'s tons more.

If I booted you out of my room at the end of the night.  I hope I didn\'t seem too rude, and I\'m sorry if I did, but it was late and I was tired.  But it was fun while it lasted.

A couple items got "accidentally removed" from the room.  A brand new bottle of aspirin and Ricky Roux\'s Breakfast sweatshirt.  If you took the sweatshirt, please PM Ricky and ensure he gets it back.  If you took the aspirin... choke on it!

show was pretty siick. highlights for me were rufus and chocolate salty balls. stoops is straight up nasty. best costume award was a tie between the ambiguously gay duo and powdered toast man, though everyone who dressed up had great costumes.

btw i did see that smoke on the way home and it looked like a bomb went off. pretty crazy.

anyways, good times in at higher ground

I may be wrong about which show they were talking about, but it was definitely on Hyperfunk. For all I know it was somebody who wasn\'t even at the show, however, and was just talking about the Breakfast in general (from limited exposure, I would imagine).

The Interwebs tell me that this show sounded like "RAQ Light".

Either these Hyperfunk guys need to start accepting the Breakfast or we\'re going to need to take a page out of the Torquemada playbook.

where\'d you hear that? Not on hyperfunk...  PT?  Bunch a douches...  Most of the Hyperfam has accepted the BFast 100%.

I wouldn\'t read into anything on hyperfunk these days.  We are all still very bitter about the so called "break-up" which still hasn\'t been announced yet.  I am very excited to see the breakfast on 11/29 w/stoops (since the wife and I will be in the northeast for thanksgiving).  Now they need to show the southeast some love.  The only reason I stopped seeing the breakfast was because they haven\'t played the south since I moved to charlotte in 2005.

Oh, here\'s someting that bugged me: throughout the course of the night I spoke to several Raq fans who all pretty much had the same things to say:
* Tim is almost as good as Raq\'s guitar player ()

I jumped onto Hyperfunk to see what the talk was like.  First off, there has been very little post weekend talk about these shows.  Secondly, one person made that RAQ light comment.

After being a way for a month, it looks like the band and Timmy Tour are firmly planted in the northeast for November.  Push for a December run.  A jaunt down south is a pretty small commitment if they hit a few key cities and then bounce home.

This show was soooo great. It seemed like it was over so fast, like they always do. It was great seeing everyone dressed up in costumes! I almost blew a gasket when I saw Wolf. LMAO!

(me ------>as Red Riding Hood)

Four of us ended up meeting some first-timers, who had been at the slightly stoopid show. Great to see new faces, despite the rest of the night in a strange place.

Fave jams o\' the night; Rufus, the Smurfs, Metrop.,...Hell all of it went fantastically. Glad I could help out my fall-down drunk friend; Love ya sister.

what a fuckin\' blast!  hlh>king of the hill>ren & stimpy!?!?  what the fuck?!?  Really dirty overexposure.  Crazy shit.

from the end of the sound through the rest of the show was about as good as i\'ve seen them play.  period.  though paul told me a minute or two into ventriloquist that it was a raq song, i kinda figured by people\'s reactions and stoops starting it off that\'s what it was.  damn good song that i wouldn\'t mind hearing again.  Metropolis was by far the highlight for me, there\'s only been a few times that music\'s moved me like that in my life, i\'ve seen some shit, but but jeeeesus chriiiist...

rufus>willie couldn\'t have ended the night better.  the fuckin\' peaks towards the end of rufus were complete insane.

paul and i were talking about stoop\'s style, ya know slap the shit out of the keys, and how it brings a little extra kick to the frenzies and the peaks, i think metroplis and rufus were perfect examples of that...

great time.  can\'t wait to hear it again.  there were soooooo many great costumes.  i thought it was hilarious that i\'ve never seen a second of arrested development but i knew that david cross played the guy dave was dressed as, cuz of the hair, what a classic!!!

POWDERED TOOAAAST MAAAAAAAAAANNNNN!!!!

the other tease may have been "botz", I have a sent text to somebody saying botz tease, but I was pretty drunk so I may have been wrong

great show...adrian\'s solo was insane, stoops sounded awesome, and ventriliquist was better than any raq version I\'ve seen/heard

dave\'s costume was great[/QUOTE]

i just had a chance to listen to that ventiliquist.  andy, how drunk were you???  i mean, it was solid, but best ever?  not in my opinion.

give this one a try, first song second set.
