I say now I am thinking about it, but it truthfully all depends on my credit card debt as of, say, mid-July...

I\'d say, realistically, we\'re lookin at my chances bein about 23% at this point.

not to derail this thread completely (as i\'d hate to do that to our massive colorado fanbase), but...

dw - if you\'re carrying any kind of balance on that card, you should definitely consider transferring the balance to another card with 0% APR.

check the link below. the first section is all cards that have no BT fee, and have a 6-month or 12-month 0% APR promo period:

I would but nobody will give me an available balance big enough to get rid of it.... F\'n double edged sword of the cooperate credit world.... freak\'n shady bastards. i\'m just waiting to trip over a big pile of money.....

one option would be to apply for several cards with 0% BT promo periods, and split your balance up among them. the trick is to apply for the cards all in the same day (early in the morning), as it won\'t affect your credit score nearly as much as if you applied on different days.

you can then split your balance up among those cards. depending on minimum payments, this may or may not be worth it.

hell, even if you just want to get ONE card @ 0%, that\'s still SOME of your current balance that you won\'t be getting drilled in the ass with finance charges for..

just be sure you don\'t USE those credit cards you transfer your balance to, as any payments you make will likely go towards the 0% stuff, while interest builds on the new charges..
