 Nice setlist.

Is STL not inverted? Have they gone back to playing it straight?

Show looks really good.

HLH->Man in Me???  I am wondering if HLH was unfinished or how the jam went to transition into MiM?  Harry finishes very abruptly, no?  Not that I question that they could do it, but I am curious to hear it.  I hope it was taped.

Oh yeah, it is good to see a Spunk on that list.

Oh wow, and an Inner Glimpse! sm=off the CHARTS!

No Regret and Inner Glimpse are both good songs. Remember people who never heard of them before may get clinched by these tunes. When placed properly in a set they continue the energy and flow.

I happen to like them both very much and although they seem overplayed to us i know they will be recieved well by new ears....also i thought that the boys ripped a ser no regret at toads two weeks back.

if thet seem overplayed it might be because they are still learning what they can do with the songs and what potentially can happen with playing it. IMO, they have a lot of room to work with because they are beginning to find out what works and what doesn\'t work with many of these tunes and how they can apply that into a show.

i, too, like both songs. they played em both in the only three shows ive been to and they were placed well, got some head bangin out to No Regret and always that solid peak in IG. however, i disagree that these tunes have a lotta room to work with, especially IG-- it\'s exactly the same every time ive heard it. and that aint bad at all, i think its good to have a couple tunes that stay fit to their original versions. it probably gives the boys a mental breather while still rockin the place.

They have been playing these tunes for over a year and a half if they haven\'t figuredd out what to do with them...maybe there is nothing to do with them.  They do not seem overplayed...they are overplayed. confirmed.

I was at the show. I honestly couldnt tell you if it was taped...i was preoccupied. It was sick, the guys were obviously feelin it last night. The whole venue was pretty cool for that matter, great atmosphere. Breakfast completely stole the show. Beef barley was something like 20 mins long....sick version. They played from about 9pm to almost midnight. It was a hell of an experience

^^^Good to hear.  "Beef" has been getting a workout the last 6 months or so with jams that is always a good thing to see.

Oh, and on top of that, No regret and Inner glimpse were both amazing, and completely rocked the festival. There is no way to overplay a breakfast song.

I confronted Tim about the 20 minute Beef Barley this afternoon and he was unable to confirm or deny the length of the tune. "It could have happened but time was not present yesterday" They seemed to have a good time there and he said everyone really digged the show.

Also, heard that he was going home to practice some new covers and some new originals.

Read the lyrics and if you still need some clarification, I will tell you.

Quote
Everyone come along while we sing this song
Remembering a funny man
A real big guy always on the fly
Making all the people laugh
Comedian that he was got moving like a two ton bus
But going that fast I guess he had to crash
Never wanting to lose his buzz

Beef Barley

Now he\'s passed and left our realm
Into a world of good
Genius he was too strange for us
Always misunderstood
So wild was his soul not even he had control
Now he is free silly as can be
In our hearts and memories

Everyone come along while we sing this song
Remembering big beef barley
Smiles this man brought to this land
Give it up for big beef barley

He lived in a van down by the river
Herlihy Boy\'s dad
One of the gap girls looking real bad
Got hit with a crotch bat
He might of been a black sheep
But he played a good loaf of meat
Like a big bright star he shined all the time
Leaving a legacy

Beef Barley

Why did he have to leave so early?

I guess I could have done that and made it easier for DanK, but there is nothing more satisfying then coming up with the answer on your own.

yeah, i believe they called it \'chris farley\' when they first wrote it, but soon changed it to beef barley (before it was first played).
