Alright, so we all know that The Breakfast, though they are playing a 3 night run (NYC>Boston>Burlington) leading up to NYE, are not playing a show on the eve. Something ineteresting has come up and I would like to share it with you to see what kind of interest there is..........
The Seth Yacavone Band is reuniting for a NYE show at Nectars. This is the original SYB and not the acoustic incarnation or the solo Seth Yac show that he plays at Nectars.
Some of us are thinking about staying up in Burlington that night and rocking in the new year with the heady scene that is that city and its local jam hero Seth Yac and company.
I know that Ron is definitely planning on heading back to CT after the Breakfast show on the 30th, but I am not sure about Tim and Adrian. If they do end up staying, I am pretty sure that there is a good chance of a sit in.....Would anyone be interested in getting a room and ringing in the new year with Seth Yacavone and some B\'Fam?????
-
I planned on doing this regardless....
SYB has been out of the scene for the past 2 years, occasionally throwing fans a bone once in a blue moon. Should be a monstrous evening of high octane PBR/Maker\'s Mark infused backwoods VT energy.

:stoned:Woo hoo! I\'d be down w/ some Brahllington action on NYE...

If anyone reading this is gonna be around Boston for NYE and needs a phat party you can check out DJ Wolf at 34 Harrison Street in Somerville. It\'s a house party. Nice attire, no cover.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.........
Sounds like a pretty swell plan. I gotta figure out the logistics because that\'s a ton of driving.. but I would gladly offer a ride to my fellow man especially if gas $$ can be helped out with.
-
Sound very tempting Stevie, I will have to see what Ev thinks. I miss Seth Yac Band big time!
-
i dont have experience with seth yac BAND only seth yac sit ins by himself.... whats the band experience all about?
-
hmmm... I\'m probably going to have to take a raincheck on this one.

haha! yeah, we\'ll try to stop by Nectar\'s for a drink at some point in the night if we leave the room... ;)
Highly recommended hoteys in the area:
**Best Western Windjammer (cheap)
***University Inn (basic)
****Doubletree (great for couples if u get the suite w/ hot tub & kitchenette!!!!)
-
I am hopingthat we can get the suite at the University Inn........Its big and already trashed so we cant really do much more damage....
-
:hscratch: Interesting possible turn of events!!

THIS IS COMPLETLY off topic but I rememeber my dad\'s friend doing something funny when I was a kid.....It has to do with Wolfman\'s Avatar....he would cut the knees out of the indian lady holding the butter (the cardboard part of the butter package) and tape them over the spot that she is holding the butter...when you do this, it looks like shes holding a nice set of tits...I guess her own tits...has anyone ever seen this before?....I think I\'ll show my students this trick tomorrow (just kidding for the people that dont know me)
-
Credit Estawhaddup for the sweet avatar. Remember the logo parody contest earlier this year? Anyways, have fun in the -40 degree Burlington winter everyone!

ooh, nice. FLIPS @ All Good Fest 2005 was one of the wierdest and most memorable shows I\'ve ever seen.
I hope you\'re ready to sing along... ohhh, Yoshimi!
...... oh GOOD NEWS (for me at least)
My good friend Mike from Baltimore will most likely be visiting me on this weekend, and therefore coming along on whatever journey I take him on. He\'s been to lots of PB/Breakfast shows with me in the past, so this should be awesome!
Stephen should we get our own room or are you grabbing a super-suite of sorts. I loves ta party but I will also probably want a couple hours of sleep over the course of the weekend ;)
....
2nd edit:::::: Not 100% sure about Burlington... DEF going to Boston w/ him but we might stick around here and jam out / tripout / party for the rest of the weekend. Our budget is kinda weak so actually we might be leaning towards this change of plans at the moment..
