Glad to see the Upstate love with a 2 night run! Any guess at what time this will get started? I won\'t be getting there until midnight so hopefully I don\'t miss too much.

hotel info:

red roof-rages but does not have the boomin $50 nye rate so not worth it (over a hundge now)

hotel utica- big pimpin but sold out of doubles, $160 for one bed, suites are available for two hundge might be worth it if people want to chip in, but overall not really worth it either

radisson-doubles available, AAA rate is $135/night, walking distance from the venue. seems like the winner this time around. I reserved a room here for both nights.

there is also a new hampton inn which is a great hotel chain but its twice as far away as the radisson. but if the radisson sells out its prolly the second best option.

ill send zee a myspace and see if he can get the group rate at red roof. 50 is a great deal for that place but its not worth a hundge. its nice but not walking distance. quick cab ride tho but getting one latenight can be a hassle.

OK, so this is probably going to kill me, but I have schedules colliding this weekend. I have a bike ride (http://www.harpoonbrewery.com/index.cfm/page/About-The-Ride/pid/84901) in boston saturday morning. Friday show is out of the question. My plan is to be in boston friday night and then leave on the ride 6am saturday. 140 miles/ 8(?) hours later I\'ll arrive in windsor, vt. Then they bus us back to boston (nap time). I then load up my stuff, and jump on the mass pike, and a few hours later will arrive in utica. Probably will miss some/all of moe show but should make the breakfast. Of course the problem here is getting up at 4am, 8 hours of biking, then 2/3 hours of driving and THEN hitting a show/latenight could be, interesting...

I\'m def doing the ride and really want to make the show, so I\'m planning on doing this, I\'m just wondering if people even think it\'s feasible.

I\'d go if the trains were running.

$35 Boston->Utica = less than gas.

Unfortunately CSX is doing major track upgrades closing the Boston->Albany link.

I\'d love to, but this is suppose to be a really great ride and was a pain in the butt to get into, plus then entrance fee and jersey would be for naught if I ditched it. Might drive to vt friday since I\'m off, bike to boston, take the ride back and then I\'d have my car in vt when I got there saturday afternoon. would save a ton of time to not have to wait for the buses and then double back all that distance. have to map it, but right now that\'s how I\'m leaning.
280 in 2 days, would outdo the tri state trek by +10 miles in -1 days. :hehehe:

speaking of which, I have to get my ass in gear and start training hardcore or this isn\'t going to happen. Really wish it wasn\'t the same weekend! :banghead:

ah, this is new hampshire, not mexico. I\'d be more worried about getting chased by a moose or bear than hit by a drunk driver.
