Buquebus of late has been clocking in at 20 minutes.

Escher\'s Etchings > have been pretty solid. Look back a few weeks again, mid april.

The Call is an excellent all around show.

Plenty from last year....

okay the space oddity>dig was pretty good. gbfbits doesn\'t really do it for me, at least the few that i\'ve heard. i think the jams are a little stale. come on, rufus>HLH is going to blow me away?! i\'m enjoying this may fly>jam>sleeping beauty much more. how about some good like 12+ minute standalones? this mayfly>jam>sb is really sweet by the way. very nice segue. anything more like this?

m00b00\'s>no quarter>v00d00 from UAC 4/9/05 (also the gladys pimp>score>gladys>score from the same show)

gravity>rufus>gravity from Velvet Lounge 2/17/05

buquebus from Buffalo Creek Fest 5/13/05 (if that\'s up yet)

those have been my favorites this year so far, although toads place (3/19?) was hot all the way through, there were also badass gravity>flower punk>gravity and help>slip>doughboy at johns hopkins, and the rest of the uac show, and others that rank up near the top. honestly, after listening to the 4/30 & 5/1/04 cafe 9 shows for the first time since the shows, its really impressive to hear ghow far the band and songs have come in just one year! viva \'05!!!

I def. wouldn\'t recommend GBFBITS to a Breakfast noob.

My suggestions...

Gladys Pimp 2004-10-30
Gravity > Merge > Dig > Gravity 2005-01-15
Escher\'s Etchings 2004-02-04

Eschers is a tune I would say not to recommend to new breakfast head.....to me...eschers needs to be grown into....well for me it had to be....

Probably my favorite show from 2004.  It was disseminated from the west coast and hasn\'t officially made it online to our favorite website.  From my understanding, all copies have been spread via direct trade or the mail.

2004-04-10 from Winstons.

Incredible GBFBITS>jam>al howard rap>Attraction to Shade Ditty

weird to hear rap along with TB but it suprisingly works well......hell of a segue right there.

Yeah but Al\'s band is pretty much straight funk so his lyrics flow real well w/ The Breakfast. Everytime they come to town Al is all over it.

Is Al well known in San Diego?  He definitely seems talented from what I have heard.  His Baja Bash appearance with the Breakfast is cool as well.

Al Howard and the K23 Orchestra play all the time in SD and up the coast. Fun time for sure and they always have free cookies and sometimes Pie!

I\'ve noticed that they occasionally play the Boom Boom Room in S.F. as well.
