Title: Hard Luck Harry
Post by: davepeck on April 30, 2003, 02:39:49 pm
@ HARD LUCK HARRY

Innocent Harry
Broke down on the road
Needed assistance badly
Got out to walk home
He saw some lights
Help is on the way
The wind was kickin\' that night
A mailtruck was deadly

Harry look your wits are on the pavement
I\'m sure you were a good guy intelligent
If you used your brain it may not came this accident
But who will know no one will know your real intent
His real intent...

Was he a danger taker
Inebriated
A Crazy gazer
Looking for road head
It was more serious
Lane appreciation
He loved white light
The risk decimation

An FLA native who contemplated
The question is, is his life worth savin\'
And who drove by but Staven on vacation
And saw the final situation what a shame man
What a shame man...

He\'s Hard Luck Harry, say bye to a good guy (x4)

Just listened to a tasty Utica vintage HLH on my way home and I was thinking about the last part of the song, after we say goodbye to Harry, and theres this riff before the jam goes out to wherever it goes on that particular night. Its kinda hard to explain, but I know you know what I\'m talking about. Is there a name for this jam? An easy example of this piece would be one of the tracks on Zone 1. I guess I\'m wondering if the fans out there had a name for it.

**its called \'Plosion\' on Zone 1, if anyone was really wondering other than me**
