I would love to hear a food for thought with the GI Joe line "and now you know, and knowing is half the battle"
-
i used to think this song was pretty annoying, but now that i havent heard it in so long im craving it like MAD
lets hear one soon!
oh yeah, and sundance too
-
i heard paul ryan wrote this one ;)
-
nah, I just wrote a song that had the same rhythm and time signature and sounded a lot like the 13 part and played it for tim a few months before he wrote this. It\'s all a giant coincidence.
-
i don\'t think they can ever top the version that tim played at bennyboomers\' bachelor party...a recording exists
-
^^what was the thought for that one?
-
# Thought one: raffle prize
##
Thought two: (Benny) "Never marry the girl that you fucked with vasoline"
(Tim) "Space City Affair does not condone this food for thought"
Haha, classic! Almost makes up for the 5 minutes of boring raffle numbers.

That was a vocal jam, weren\'t you at Daniel St. on July 6?
-
Nope, I\'ve only been to one show in CT [2007-12-29].

Wasn\'t one of them something to do with "Don\'t marry that one girl you fucked with vasoline" ewww.... lol
I asked Tim about this tune one time in like 2005 I think and he told me they had given it up.

Last time played - 11/30/2007. That\'s less than a year, I wouldn\'t give up hope.

"now thats dick" X2
-
While no song is done (\'cepting maybe Za), Tim gave me the impression back in June that Food For Thought is pretty much as "on the shelf" as Breakfast songs get.
-
Int he right situation under the correct circumstances there is no reason NOT to play Food For Thought.
I believe everyone has had at least 1 memorable FFT.
-
the Holy Roman Empire was neither holy nor Roman nor an empire.
-
this song is def one of the most unique tunes in the breakfast repertoire. It lets newbs know you got a sense of humor and your different.
I support a return of FFT.
I like this band a lot when they don\'t try to take themselves too seriously.

totally agree. best shows are always the ones with a nice balance of face melting shreddage, and light hearted classics.
-
Hey, Slim and Peaches, why don\'t you to go make out in a room somewhere to these "light hearted classics?"
-
hey as long as it\'s food for thought, not anita baker\'s "rapture of love"
or maybe a freakin wild pack for cryin out loud...
-
Wild Pack, eh? Never heard of it.
