definitely the worst of the 5 shows i\'ve seen so far this tour.. really upsetting for them to play almost the exact same show both nights in boston (sans 1 song).. it was even worse for those of us who were at NJ1, because it was EXACTLY the same (except for the short encore).

the band was REALLY late (bad weather). it was announced between TMV and RHCP that RHCP wouldn\'t be going on until 10:15, and they were even gonna be giving refunds.. i didn\'t really understand the announcement of the postponment. it was actually postponed before The Mars Volta (their set started at 8:30 instead of the normal 7:30).. the time between TMV and RHCP was actually pretty close to what it\'s normally been..

also, why the hell is the band late for a show in boston, when their last show was 2 nights ago in new jersey?! yeah, the weather sucked, but it was RAIN. not like there was a blizzard. i just don\'t understand why they didn\'t arrive in boston sooner.

hoping for better tonight..

I was driving to Waste Haven this afternoon in a downpour and I was behind idiots in the fast lane doing 10-15 mph...like there was 6 inches of snow on the road in a blizzard!!! :sigh: Fuckin\' people can\'t drive for shit these days!!!

That totally sucks, Dave.  Sorry.  It does look like the EXACT same show from Oct. 2nd.  What a disappointment!  I am glad I didn\'t tickets to both Boston shows.

Oh,and I didn\'t realize "rain" is a reason to delay a show thats INDOORS.  What a way to end things!  Hopefully tonight will fair better.

feels kinda weird that i won\'t be seeing the chili peppers again any time soon, but this was a great show to go out on. almost exactly the same as NJ2, but look - i\'ve learned that they have basically 2 setlist variations, with a few changes here and there. of the 6 shows i\'ve seen this tour, this was only my 2nd time with this setlist, so i\'m completely fine with it. especially with songs like Hump De Bump, Parallel Universe, and Nobody Weird in there.. not to mention Wet Sand... oh, and Sir Duke in place of the normal London Calling intro to RoT?!:thumbsup:

it was a great run that i won\'t soon forget. looking forward to the announcement of next year\'s dates. it was also great to hit these shows with a LOT of different people - lele, mikeyhelluvahat, paulytizzle, wolfman, jimcobb, holli$, sallyalli, mikeywhatthefunk, and wildcoyote. good times..

Who was that guy that they bought up during you\'re gonna get yours though? can\'t wait to hear the audio from it. and why didnt they go into Mellowship Slinky in B Major at the end god dammit. i still love RHCP though.

Check it out, I\'m in the video for Snow ((Hey Oh)).
I\'m not one of the "featured people", it\'s a crowd shot. Right after the snow starts falling on the crowd I\'m signing along, nodding my head, looking up at what they are dumping on me.

"Hump de Bump" will be the next U.S. single. The next international single will be "Desecration Smile" and the video will be shot in January by Gus Van Sant.

---

The band has commented on the single release, saying "Another exciting thing that is on the horizon for us is that we are going to make a video for the song Hump de Bump, and it is going to be directed by someone we truly admire and respect: the comic genius Chris Rock." This means that the song is going to be the fourth of seven songs released as a single from Stadium Arcadium, most likely within the first few months of early 2007.

Desecration Smile will be released internationally on February 14th.

According to Radio 1 (UK Radio Station) Desecration Smile will be the final single outing for Stadium Arcadium.

A video directed by gus van sant, who directed under the bridge, will also accompany the single, which is expected to be released on February 12th.

i like it a lot.. simple, but i think it\'s much better than the \'snow\' video..

I totally agree.   The \'Snow\' Video was probably edited very quickly with concert shots....and not much thought put into it...
