thanks dave for the set list.
I can\'t remember if we figured out last night when the last shoe dance was played?
-
well Tim said it has been about 2 years
-
new shoe dances were a blues cafe staple. a few appeared at living room, and I think one or 2 at callihans and a timmy solo show, but 2 years sounds about right for a PB new shoe dance..
could this be the first \'breakfast\' new shoe dance??? :P

Oh shit! that show was insane last night! Escher\'s Etchings > Earache My Eye > Fairy got me really pumped. bequebus was really sick as it always is, and beef barly was a fun jam. the entire show was awsome from start to finish. I brought a couple of breakfast newbies (or actually they brought me) and they had a great time and got their minds blown. hopefully i\'ll be able to catch these guys again before they go south. nectars>FFO is the plan right now.
-
btw, who is the long haired dude who tapped me on the shoulder and said "i\'ve herad about you?" i\'m guessing he\'s on this forum... maybe not.
-
yea that guy got me with the same line. when people say stuff like that an \'are you ser?\' is well deserved. Was nice to get up to Nhampton and see an amazing show but I must say they have lost the northhampton fanbase and the turnout last night was pretty sad. but what can ya say? everyone else missed out.
There was a New Shoe dance at Toads i think too in like 2001. anyway, after seeing Galactic the night before i was happy to get a dose of Breakfast.

I agree that the place wasn\'t as full as the last time. Still a good crowd, though Iron Horse shows generally fill to the brim. I guess most of the original Amherst/Noho fans don\'t live in the area anymore. Additionally, there probably aren\'t many (or any) people on the UMass campus that have a connection to the band like in the past. This generally helps the marketing efforts when numerous people know the band and want to promote via flyers and word-of-mouth. Wolfman and I used to go to shows knowing that most of the people there were friends from the dorms or classes. I only recognized two guys from my UMass days (other than Wolfman). Maybe one of us needs to move back in the dorms to promote shows? The Butterfield shows really helped getting many UMass guys + gals into the Breakfast because they didn\'t have to do much to check out the band. Usually only a few bucks for the show with plenty of underage drinking. Most people only had to walk across the street to see the show as well.
I had a great time with all you Breakfast forum members and am already craving more Wings and nachos.

I forgot to take the Breakfast family photo last night. There were many of you there last night so I hoped to contribute something to the photo gallery.

Definately best one I have ever laid ears on....
you think you know a better one, please pass the date along, because I would love to hear a version that could even be considered better than what is going on here.....
Thanks to all involved for the music and the ability to stream this nasty ass shit right from my home computer....

Did they revert back to the old version? If not, pick any date before the re-worked version was played, and you will hear a better WUIAC. IMO, the original is way more rockin\'.

I just want to say what a great show. I had a chance to say hello to the guys(Just briefly). I did not want to overwelm them. What a great bunch of guys. I took a friend who had never heard of them before. I also Taped it. Needless to say she loved it and made me promise to get her a copy. Of course it is already in the mail. (anyone who would like a copy e-mail me). I cannot wait to see them again. I did drive some distance but worth every minute.
peace

Was this your first show or have you been to others before?
