Kim and I went to see him last night in Piermont, NY at this place called the Turning Point.
Anyway we have been fans of his music ever since a friend of ours gave us a recording from the Rock and Bowl in NOLA. Anyway we finally got our chance to see him last night in a venue that only holds like 70 people max. What an experience. Not a bad seat in the place and they have good beers on tap and the food was pretty good as well.
Anyway he is currently doing a Northern Tour and he is playing next week at the Lion\'s Den in NYC. If you love the blues then he is not to be missed. great vocals and an amazing guitar player.

Listen to the man. Tab is one of the best blues men out there right now.

Woonsocket huh, do tickets need to be purchased in advance?

Tab Benoit is a blues guitarist?

I would say yes. My guess is Chans is sold out but it is def worth checking out.
Spacey. Tab Benoit (been Wah - sort of pronounced that way) is a Blues Guitarist from Louisiana hence the french sounding name. He is pretty funny as well. He has a very Mitch Hedberg type delivery when yapping with the crowd etc
3 piece band. I didn\'t see him using any effects at all. Just vintage guitars that def show some wear and tear.

He\'s also a successful restaurant owner in NO. However, I\'m not sure if Katrina changed that.
