i agree
this is a good chance for other people that normally wouldn\'t know about a Breakfast show to get assaulted with good music. i have no problem with Umelt, they must have something going for them if they consistently play decent size venues and get heads through the door.
i would never think bad about an opening slot, as i see it it\'ll actually give all of us a chance to hangout with the band for once instead of getting booted out of the venue at 2AM.
I\'m all for this, i\'ll be there and it will rage!!!!!!

they did a pretty even split last time. plus if the guys are set up right away... just play who cares if we are off the dock yet or not. and play till they pull you off. this is gonna be a great night

actually this might be a good move for the breakfast. If I recall correctly on the last Boat Cruise they played on they were the headliners, but the opening band played for just as much time if not longer. Breakfast should do a nice 2 hour set, leave u-melt to mop up

One of my Bay Area friends just relocated to S. New Hampshire and I was thinking of heading up there the night before Rocks On. Might skip it and just go up for the show Friday night. I\'ll let you know the plans as the date gets closer. Any SE Mass people (Igz might be the only one in this subset of .info, with DW just outside this criteria) can certainly ride with me. Maybe there is an after spot somewhere in Boston?
I\'ll probably be responsible and skip the shitty light beer the cruise is most likely to offer.
Sucks that there is no bus/train service after midnight or else I\'d probably be up for an adventure.

at moe.down after the 3rd set of breakfast when moe was about to go on and everyone wanted more breakfast there was a "FUCK MOE!" chant. if that can happen at moe\'s own festival it shouldnt be that hard to get umelt to walk the plank after the breakfasts opening set. :lol:

That\'s it. If you bought tix online in advance for $31, that\'s $10.33 per song. If that\'s not the all time record for cost-per-song then it\'s definitely top 5.
1 hour set, avg. 20 minutes per song. Yeahhhhhhhh. Crispy. The Indobox kid was really good on lights too. Good stuff. No tapes.
As for heckling U-Melt...I hate to say it...you\'re not gonna believe this...we got totally beaten at our own game. One of U-Melt\'s fans must have caught word of our plan, because 15 minutes into The Breakfast\'s set, some dude pulled down his pants and took a shit right in the middle of the dance floor. It sent everyone bolting for the deck. The Breakfast was left playing in front of nothing but a smoldering turd. It was the most incredible thing I have ever seen. There was no way to respond to that when U-Melt was on. We got pwn3d.
