They should of played an acoustic show. By the looks of the setlist, Colby College can\'t power the band.

That power problem sucks. Hope that people are enjoying the show and getting down. I thought I remember Dobs telling me on Wednesday that this was in a small coffee house on campus. Any word on attendance?

Did they ever pull off an uninterrupted show at Power Hollow Barn?

Remember the Meadows lot shows they used to play when Phish was in town?

Here\'s a story for you:

Back in 2001, Dave Peck & I were sitting at tables with our girlfriends seeing PB at Fire + Water Cafe.  J.P. hit on them while we were enjoying the show together.  I think I even had my arm around my g.f. at the time he came over.

Actually I would have to say best HLH ever if not pretty damm close. At one point in the song it was like the band got into this trance like sound. Tim just kept repeating this lick that almost sounded like some loop action. Sick Sick!!!! Also I had to listen to it again to be sure but WUIAC is inverted have they done that before????
Anyway I thought it was a great show! I did tape it so it will be up soon (via peck) so you can all be the judge.
Ya it was small but sounded great in there, Packed in the first set almost too much I felt like I was loseing the already small space I had. Could see nothing of the band. Second set the place just cleared out. I overheard quite a few people talking about drinking in the dorm rooms etc. There was no drinking in the coffee house, just ask freddie!
peace all

wish I could have seen you all in mass!

I can\'t wait to hear this HLH because HLH has potential to be a monster jamming machine much like DWD, when the jam ends and they kick right back into the rockin section.

I think HLH, Rufus, Queeb, Scheme and Mooboo are all interchangeably top 5.  Some nights some are better, other nights the others are.

I saw it the first two times it was played and during it I thought I was watching Steely Dan.  Considering Steely Dan is my favorite band of all time "Doughboy" made my love for The Breakfast just that much sweeter!!!

No way

VT Song= Generic rock
Garcian Song=Psychedelic Rock
Attraction to Shade Ditty=Punk Funk
Puppetry=Psychedelic Rock
Heather=jazzy
No Glove, No Love=MTV MVP!!
Episode 1=Jazz
Frankly Po Zest=Psychedelic rock
Uncle Freddy= jazz, but older early jazz that I\'m not a fan of...
Suppefly=Funk Rock

So only 1.5 songs I would consider to be jazzy.....

for the record....i don\'t see how you can really consider doughboy one of the jazzier songs by the bfast... and the songs you dub as psychedelic rock are way more "jazzy" than doughboy.  I consider some of the jazzier tunes to be CMSS, TGSOT, TFA, Gravity, Heather, Frankly PoZest, What the funk, etc. not really doughboy though.:shrug:

Are you kdding, the chord progressions might as well be lifted from a Steely Dan song or a Larry Carlton tune!!!

But I think we\'re beating around the word that aptly describes these songs: fusionesque. Yes, all of them are jazz fusion oriented.  The closest The Breakfast has come to playing jazz was when they used to cover "St. Thomas", everything else has been fusion baby....
